Well if you like good death metal It's not a new band... they are around for 20 years now... it's a shame that many people don't know about them! They will release new album later this year... can't wait to hear it! If you never heard anything from them, you should pick their latest EP called The Art Of War... it's very short but I'm sure you will like it of course if you like DM

I think theyre great, My favorite tracks include 'Carnal' and 'The Calling'. I would definately reccomend then to anyone, particularly those interested in faster Death metal...

Death metal in Poland is really up and coming, I also highly rate Decapitated.

If we are talking about DM from Poland... we should mention Trauma too... they are not so popular like Vader or Behemoth but I think they are as good as them!

I'm still waiting to see the results of a contest they had, for developing their new album logo, for their next album Impressions in Red. Vader is a literal monster at Death Metal. I own The Beast, and even though some people don't like it because it was alittle more thrashy than other Vader albums, its still amazingly fast and brutal. Its Vader with alittle Slayerish thrash thrown in.

There a good band, a mix in between Thrash and Death, its really good to hear, and i like the covers they do of Slayer's Rainning Blood, and Morbid Angel's Immortal Rites, i think they did great covers on those songs, and those songs are some of my favorite by them.

Revelations is really cool! You should check it out! There is a song called Whisper on it with guest vocals of Behemoth's vocalist Nergal - I absolutely love this song! My favorite cd would be eeee...it's hard to choose! I like The Ultimate Incantation because it's old school I like Litany because it's the most brutal album (Peter says that the new album will be even more brutal than Litany - I hope he is right ) and I like The Art Of War because... eee I don't know why, but I just like it

Another of my fav. I was curious about Vader for a long time, then I got "Reborn in Chaos" a compilation of their "Necrolust" (1989)and "Morbid Reich" (1990) demos, I liked it very much, and I was looking for more Vader and I got "Kingdom" (EP 1998), "Revelations" and "The Beast", now I'm fan of Vader. I think old Vader is better than new because are stronger and more powerfull, the old stuff have "the young authenticity".

I agree, I got it back in the day and it rocked... someone ganked my copy five years ago or so and I finally got a new copy from theend.com earlier this month. It still rocks.

Listening to them right now, just thought I would post. A really great band. It's good that they have stayed consistent all these years. I am currently listening to their 'De Profundis' album and am thinking about popping in their 'Live in Japan' album afterwards. A really great mix between the aggression of Thrash Metal and the heaviness of Death Metal. Wicked music.

I'm listening to Wolftribe right now .. and omfg it's fast. As any other Vader song actually. Their combination of death metal, speed and incredibly heavy sound is heaven to me and my damaged ears !

Again, I'd like to write about one of my favourite bands, but I have done so in the old thread in the previous version of the site. So let me just copy my post from there:

What can I say about one of my favourite bands of all time? Back in 1991 I accidentally bought "Morbid Reich" and I was blown out of my boots. So when I heard that Vader was to release their debut album in 1992, I waited with the highest hopes. And my highest hopes were fulfilled.

"The Ultimate Incantation" is still in my top ten of all time. It contains most of the song from the "Morbid Reich" demo, which is waht I was hoping for. These songs, adequately produced, are still some of the best songs that death metal ever produced. "Vicious Cirlce" and "Reign Carrion" are my favourite death metal songs. Of course, this album contains more killers, well, they all are absolutely perfect. Just listen to "Demon Wind". It starts off slowly, with lazy riffs and slow drums, then guitar riffs get denser and denser, the drums become more intense, double bass kicks in and a hurricane commences. This is an archetype of every death metal song, a template which was used and abused by thousands of bands afterwards.

"De Profundis" shows a little more technical approach to death metal. Songs are shorter, but far more complex and varied. The very first track, "Silent Empire" is a trademark of this album. I especially like the fragment when Peter sings "Elevenfold cross eclipse...", the drumming there is brilliant. Again, there are no fillers on this album, every song is well executed and simply great. My favourite is "Reborn in Flames", a very old song from their demo "Necrolust". It's very Slayer-esque with all these riffs and tempos. Its ending strongly resembles Slayer's "Raining Blood", which makes it even better, because slayer is my favourite band!

"Black to the Blind" disappointed me slightly with its dry sound. The production here is not so good, you can hardly hear the bass guitar, and the drums are, how do I put it, shallow... But mediocre production aside, the songs are brilliant again. From experimental, original "Carnal", through wonderfully complicated "True Names" to absolutely brillinat "Black to the Blind", Vader shows us again that there are very few death metal bands that can catch up with them.

After these 3 albums, a fan might think that Vader reached the top of their brutality and speed. Wrong! The most brutal was yet to come. And it did, in 2000 with the release of

"Litany". From the very first sounds of this album you can hear the Vader has never been so angry before. The bass drum stopms you into the ground as the band spreads its "Wings". When I first heard this album back in 2000, when "Wings" started, I thought "Geeeez, these guys are gonna kill me!". And then "The One Made of Dreams" kicked in and I lay on the ground, flattened as a pancake. This album is a death metal equivalent of Slayer's "Reign in Blood" - short, concise and to the point. The songs blast away through your ears and make them bleed. The drummer demolishes his drum kit like there's no tomorrow. The guitar whine and howl like Stygian furies. Insane. that's all I can say.

What could they do after such a masterpiece? Yeah, you're right. They slowed down.

"Revelations" show a bit slower side of Vader, with songs like "Revelation of Black Moses", a 7-minute ten ton monster which sounds like doom metal. But don't me misled. this is still Vader. "When Darkness Calls" is archetypical Vader: slow opening, building atmosphere, riffs getting more and more intense, drums speeding up with every second of the song. When finally madness unfolds, the listener finds himself again engulfed by Vader's music. "The Code" is something new and original in Vader's discography. It's very thrashy and groovy, which makes it stand out on this album. And, somehow, it shows the direction that Vader was going to take on their next album.

"The Beast" is the most controversial of all their albums, mainly because thrash influences are so prevalent here. You could even say that thre's more thrash than death metal here. Again, they try to incorporate new elements, most notably in "The Sea Came in at Last", which contains eerie fragments where Peter does not growl, but whisper, or croon. Ths is my least favourite Vader album. I absolutely loved it at first, but it grew old on me after several listens. It made me apprehensive about this band's fututre, but fortunately, my fears were chased away by their latest release,

"The Art of War" is an absofuckinglutely brilliant hurricane. Never before has Vader been so angry and aggressive. These four songs beat even "Litany" in terms of sped and brutality, which is hard to believe, but it's true.

"Impressions in Red"? The future looks bright for Vader. I'm almost sure it will be my favourite album of 2006, unless Slayer surprises me and finally releases a new album.
