In my opinion they are the second best band from Poland, after Behemoth. I have heard a song from their new album, i think it was called "Warlords", and it sounded really great. Can't wait to buy their new album.

Well I'm back from the home country and I brought back with me Vader's Litany and their live DVD Night Of The Apocalypse. First of all Litany has the best songs that Vader has made by far IMHO and I can't get enough of it. So then I watched NOTA and when they opened with Epitaph they play it dead-on same goes for the whole concert I enjoyed the main show the most b/c I felt that it had an appropriate atmosphere, with the synths wailing above the crowd as they are pumping their fists in the air and calling for Vader. I hope to see them live in the US when they get around to it maybe in the HOB if anyone they should headline that would be a great show that I will definatly look for. If you want a shitload of Vader cd's Poland is definatly the place to get them. Also when I was there Vader seems to be more popular and some people didn't even hear of Behemoth. So the only other thing that would have been awesome would be to see Vader while I was in Poland too bad they weren't playing at the time.
Hail Vader

Vader have posted the following update at their official website :

"Slayer's song 'Raining Blood' - a bonus track only on the Japanese edition of Impressions In Blood - is now available in our MP3 section! Feel free to download it. The record was released in Japan a few days ago (Marqueee/ Avalon). On the 4th of September Impressions In Blood will be released in Europe (through Regain Records) and the next day in the US and Canada (via Candlelight Records USA). So far the album has got a very positive feedback from critics: Legacy (GER) 13/15, Rock Hard (GER) 9/10, Metal Hammer (GER) 6/7..."

Also on The Night of The Apocalypse Vader covers Slayer's Raining Blood good shit. And on Litany when they play Final Massacre they play it with a significantly greater speed which makes sense since they became even crazier and faster when they were finishing Litany compared to The Ultimate Incantation.

My favorite albums are back to the blind, de profundis, litany, the beast, and revelations. With tracks like sothis, wolftribe, wings, prevail, the red passage, from the deep and etc.

You're right Vader should get more credit although I feel they already have lots of support, on Night Of The Apocalypse their is an interview with Peter and he mentions how people take them to be a band that isn't as well recognized and I don't know in what type of audience that he was trying to pull in and I have to say I am suprised that they opened up for slipknot and Metallica. Frankly I despise shitknot and Metallica is good but IMHO I feel that they have more talent then they ever will. And if anything slipknot should have opened for Vader if not even being there at all. But I don't know how you can get such bands on the same set unless you're looking for variety. From Death Metal,to nu metal, and finally Heavy Metal. I feel that Vader should definatly get more credit but as far as the Death Metal scene goes most people aren't drawn to it but I like it that way. So I say Hail to Vader the band that will forever Reign.

Saw the video for 'Helleluyah (God Is Dead)' on their website. I really liked the video and although I felt the lyrics were a little repetative, I quite enjoyed it. Reckon I might have to pick up a copy when I see it.

^^^ God I love that song. The video was good as well. As for the album "Impressions In Blood," I am still forming my opinion on it. I have listened through the record about 3 times now and thus far I am really enjoying it. I'm going to need a few more listens before I can form my final judgment, but I can say that it is probably one of my favs of the year.

Two sides can be seen about the new album. One side is that Vader can still churn out bone crushing material whenever they want, and it is guaranteed to get your neck aching within a day. However they aren't really bringing anything new to the table, it's just more of the same. Again however, more of the same from Vader is great, so this album is not a disappointment. If anything, it is very solid. A good homage from Vader, the new album is.

Well, I just got De Profundis today and it has brought back my interest in this band. I was getting tired of them, but now I find myself listening to them more often. De Profundis is a great album, maybe even better than Litany.

With that purchase I now almost have their discography. Only one or two more to go...

Yes, their early albums are really fantastic and maybe a little more inspired than their latest few. I really enjoy their debut 'The Ultimate Incantation.' I just wish I could come across it in a store.

hmm, I didn't really like The Ultimate Incantation. The drums are very simple and repetitive. The guitars and vocals are great, but I just can't get past the repetitve drums. However, I've only listened to it twice so my opinion could change.

I liked to say that Vader is doing very well for themselves and since Revelations Novy has been part of the group for some time now. And after being in Behemoth he has been putting in a great effort and I can say he is a true polish death metalist.

Happy Birthday Novy may your days be filled with brillance and inspiration.

Ive been getting into Vader yet again, litany, revelations, and de profundis are my favorite albums, Especially when they solo or tremelo out, it sounds absolutely incredible. I admit they sometimes come across with similar sounding songs, but they still have many that stand out.

Just got Impressions yesterday and when the eerie symphonic music began I knew that this was going to be fucking insane. They hav'nt seemed to have slowed down a beat, and the same blistering solos that I recall from Revelations is present now more then ever. I give this cd a 10 out of 10.

"Impressions in Blood" sounds like a combination of Revelations and Litany, mixed with the symphonic elements of "The Art of War". A very pleasing record
