Well, The Beast is considered by many to be the weakest Vader album. It's more thrash, less death, less aggression, whatever more. I like it, but it really is different from pretty much all their other albums.

I agree with headbang vol.99, Vader can do better than that. I liked The Beast but I was a little disappointed. Fortunately they came back with Impressions In Blood, this one more at the stile of Vader!

Might see them on summer slaughter tour, since i'm going to california this summer, one of the bands that i'm looking forward to, these guys must be intense live.

Man I just got majority of their discography, so far my favorite is Litany, the rest I still have to check out.

The very first I listened of Vader was an old "compilation" (Demos?) named "Reborn in Chaos", since then I was looking for more of Vader, now is one of my fav bands. I think that their old stuff is more..... (how can I say it?) : maybe..... authentic?, maybe. But, please, dont understand me wrong, Vader was and is a great band, and I agree with Slaytallica, with "Impressions In Blood" they back with that authenticity (Oh, I think I write like an old man .... a little complicate )

Well personally my two favs Albums are... De Profundis and Litany..

Its just non-stop power and theres one of my fav Death Metal song on De Profundis
wich is Blood of Kingu.. and again on Litany, the Masterpiece Testimony.

But yeah i guess its just a matter of opinions and music tastes

What a great band!!! I've only listened to Litany but I am asured that they have many good releases and I'm going to hear more stuff. I like so much their drumming on that album and their "groove" (although this is not my style, when Vader do it, I find it awesome!).

Vader has to be my favorite band that's out of Poland. Their Live In Japan album, pure Death Fucking Metal, anyone who is oblivious to what this band has offered needs to check it out. Also, The Ultimate Incantation, an absolute classic. R.I.P. Doc.

I've been listening to Vader for a few years - since around the time of Revelations - they immediately stood out to me as different and quickly became my favourite band. Peter's vocals are so different from other DM vocals, and yet they are so powerful. My favourite albums are probably De Profundis, Litany and Impressions in Blood (Am I allowed to like their most recent release? )

Well, Sword of the Witcher isn't really a typicalVader song. They made it for a video game, so it had to be more accessable. Still a great song, but you may have gotten the wrong idea about Vader. To get a better idea of what they sound like check out the songs Cold Demons, This Is the War, and Xeper.

Also from the "remix" album, I straight out recommend Chaos. The original version just doesn't have enough power. I don't care that was the time when the song was made, but the version on 'XXV' is just much better and it is one of my favourite songs from that album.

@ Biedrik & headbang vol.99: Thanks a lot! I listened to recommendations you gave me. They're all great songs. I also found that I enjoyed Reign Forever World, Final Massacre, and Vicious circle. This is definitely a band worth my money.

For the typical,powerful and fast vader check out: black to the blind, wings! 2 also great songs!

I'm just happy that their production work has improved with them over the years. I used to like them live better than studio recordings due to the production quality. Vaders a damn good band and I've been happy with the fact that they've been getting decant studio recordings out since black to the blind.

Anyone who likes Vader should check out Dies Irae, which features Doc, Mauser and Novy, who have all been in Vader at some point. The overall sound is very similar to Vader, but the vocals are completely different. Great band anyway, certainly worth checking out.

Vader is great death band thanks to Peter, he is the head of the band.I like new stuff it is so dethish ihhihihi.Impressions in Blood is great album and i thin this one will be to.

It sounds like typical vader...nothing really new but still a solid album.
