I've started this thread as the old thread got deleted with the new site.

This is a thread about bands like: Manilla Road, Agent Steel, Jag Panzer, Cirith Ungol, Circle II Circle, Whilplash, Forbidden, Attacker, Deadly Blessing, Catch 22, Imagika, Hammers of Misfortune, Liege Lord, Apollo Ra, Pharoh, Q5, Crimson Glory, etc.

I've got the Beyond Fear album and I can say it's one hell of an album, if you into old school heavy metal, but with an up to date sound you've got to deffenetly get it.

What do you thing of Midnight's return to Crimson Glory? Any expectations?

Any news from the Agent Steel camp?

It is about bands from the US who play the typical US style of metal.... Talking about bands like Helstar, Heir Apparent, Steel Prophet, Overlorde, Agent STeel, Flotsam & Jetsam, Ravensthorne,....

and not about: korn, slipknot, Slayer (alhtough we love this band), ...

I also am planing to get Outworld & Crescent Shield, but they will have to wait until next year, as things don't seem to go too well for me when talking about money the last few months. What I recomend is the Confessor DVD, i can't say how good it is!

What do Eden's Fall play? They aren't prog, neither us power, nor thrash...It's like Nevermore, Comunic, Biomechanical, Machine Called Man, but at the same time none of the above. I've been listening for some days to this album and I can't tell what the hell they are playing, except that they are great.

VICIOUS RUMORS, AGENT STEEL: European Tour Postponed - Dec. 23, 2006

The European tour featuring VICIOUS RUMORS and AGENT STEEL has been postponed to May-June from the previously March. The trek was reportedly pushed back due to the fact that VICIOUS RUMORS just recently completed a European tour with BEYOND FEAR and that AGENT STEEL's new album would not be ready in time for a March tour.

As previously reported, the members of VICIOUS RUMORS were interviewed by Doug Troxell on October 21, 2006 at McLaren Park in San Francisco prior to their departure for their European tour. Interviewed were: Geoff Thorpe, Larry Howe, James Rivera, Thaen Rasmussen, and Stephen Goodwin. Watch the interview at YouTube.com.

VICIOUS RUMORS released its new album, "Warball", in the U.S. in October. Two short samples from "Warball" ? "Sonic Rebellion" and "Mr. Miracle" ? are available at the band's official web site.

I got to find out if they are coming somewhere near Romania & go see them as I don't think I'll have a chance too se them here. If on this tour there would have been also Helstar it would have been probably the best show to go and see! Anway it's a great one none the less.

I got both Crescent Shield & Outworld. Outworld is very good prog, but Crescent Shield just blew me away. One of the best releases in years, I couldn't believe how old school & fres it is at the same time.
