Well, It seems that you are too young and probably you think that a protection is enough, you are wrong buddy, condoms are not enough, they aren't force fields against viruses or fleas, a friend of mine got a nasty plague, although he did used protection, and washed after sex, he spent a year trying to get rid of that, and after dozens of painful treatments finally he got cured.
Maybe he was stupid and forgot something, but why to take risks, its better to take a girl you know and have a happy time :-)

Condoms are only 50% secure, check statics man, even extreme protections aren't 100% secure.

By the way, what does STD stands for?

Ohh, I didn't knew that these were the initials in English, anyway, out there in europe, particullary in netherlands where i think is legal, the prostitution is more "clean", but here in my coutry the cheap ones are really nasty.

@ selkenshin: the reason most people hide it from parents is probably that sex is still taboo, even though it shouldnt. another reason might be that you dont talk about stuff like sex with your parents. i mean, i dont have any problem at all talking about porn with my friends, but we talk about everything. i never talk about sex or love or anything like that with my parents.

Maybe you should, I didn't talk with them about that, and once my mom bought me pack of condoms and said I don't want to be grandmother yet, she found some old condoms, after that, I talked with my mom about that very often, and she helped me a lot

Well, I don't see CP (not Swedish) as a fetish, because it's pure molestation. I mean, find me a child who would like to have sex with a fully grown man, or woman. I doubt there are any. However, it is true that a number of people watch that, but I reckon a symbolic number of them would actually commit something like that. And also, a lot of kids are molested in their own families (a huge percentage, don't remember the exact figures) Psychiatric help is in order, but how to go to a doctor and say "Hi, I watch little kiddies after midnight, please help me"? Tough. And yeah, pornography, if it's consentual, ok. People undoubtedly like it. And prostitution, better legalize it, that means health care, safety, because prostitution was there since forever and it will stay that way (this doesn't mean that i suport legalization of marijuana).

I agree with Aronax about the legalization thing. In the netherlands I heard that its legal and they test them for stds and if it is monitered by law then there would be less sufferring and exploitation. In jerusalem its founded that there is about 120 teenage prostitutes in the city, and there is huge sex trade in the other cities too, if that can be made legal, then there wouldnt be as much problems. There would be crackdowns on the local cirme families and when Israeli law is cracking down, they do it hard and they do it well too.

Agree that legalisation would probably solve some of the problems...just don't think it will solve them all...there will always be people that abuse the system (and the prostitutes).
About the tax thing: In Denmark prostitution is illegal, but the prostitutes still have to pay income taxes of what they earn...so making it legal wouldn't make any difference here (on that subject).

You are right about that mate, of cause legalization won't solve all the problems, I think it will help, already wrote why I think so, but, what should we do then?

@AOS: unfortunately I don't know...wish I did but even small improvements are better than non and if the problems are solved one by one they might all be fixed someday

I think sexual freedom is cool though. Supply and demand is cool as well. If you're horny and you got money, then why not go to a brothel? As long as you wore protection there would be nothing wrong with it.
