I'm just going to listen to every album in this thread and pretend I discovered everything on my own to impress my non-MS IRL friends for being such a metal hipster.

Psychedelic/stoner metal from the USA. Lots of variety in this record. Flute, saxophone, accordeon, trumpet, all of those instruments make an appearance on this album. The album has a very energetic and fun vibe to it.

Psychedelic blackened death is the future.

New Vukari song is ooonph. That art too.

Always liked all of the Joe Liszt stuff. The AE record from last year was probably his weakest work imo (and it was still an enjoyable record). This one, I liked more though.

It has the usual Ancient Empire qualities. Old school heavy metal sound, raw guitars, excellent riffs and raspy vocals.

There are now 3 babushkas This one is obviously a joke, but not too too bad. At least better than the fat-guy's version.

Quality Black Metal, I get a Casus Luciferi vibe. Or Svartidaudi-esq dissonance. Anyway, it is very good.
No info about the band anywhere though.

Doom metal album from Italy. Has a bit of a Danzig vibe going on.

Nice old school sounding heavy metal/stoner rock record from Canada.

Some lovely instrumental psychedelic/stoner metal. Excellent production, lots of groove and some great riffs. One of (if not the best) instrumental record I've heard so far this year. Their record from last year (Evolution Of Karma) was already an enjoyable listen and this one improves on that record.

Noosefiller has just completed its fourth full length album, and the third from what is safe to assume our true power lineup. Another stylistic change-up, it's more oriented with sludge/doom/post metal so it's pretty massive and heavy with the Neurosis vibes and psychedelic elements.

I'm really bad with genres when bands are not clearly heading into one direction, so please apologize if I screw up, but I guess it's kind of doomish ambient with black metal hints?

Found a really good doom metal album. The music has a classic raw edge to it. I like the production, vocals and just the overall groove it has. (Also dig the artwork quite a bit).

Thrash metal from France. Their first EP and it sounds quite promising imo.

Stoner album of the year. Only for 1 dollar at bandcamp.
