Epica - Reveal New Album Title, Cover And More

Today is a big day for Dutch metallers Epica because they just revealed the details of the new album they have been working on. 2014's The Quantum Enigma will be followed by The Holographic Principle. The band's 7th studio album will be released on September 30th, 2016 via Nuclear Blast Records. It was produced by Joost van den Broek, mixed by Jacob Hansen, and features artwork by Stefan Heilemann, available below. More will be revealed in due time.

Faith No More - To Reissue Debut Album

Faith No More's debut album, We Care A Lot, will be reissued worldwide on August 19th, 2016 via Koolarrow Records with new mixes, demos and live recordings. This is an album that has been out of print for over 20 years. These tracks have been remastered by Maor Appelbaum from the original 1/2" mix reels with bonus tracks: demo versions (taken from the original 8-track tapes) of "Greed," "Mark Bowen," "Arabian Disco" and "Intro," live versions of "The Jungle" and "New Beginnings."

Saturnus - Guitarist Gert Lund Quits

Due to personal reasons, guitarist Gert Lund has quit Saturnus. He was part of the band between 2013-2016 and they wish him all the best in his future life. Keyboardist Mika Filborne had also left the group last year. Saturnus haven't released a new album since 2012's Saturn In Ascension but they have been touring in Europe in the last few months.

Ashen Horde - Announces New Vocalist Stevie Boiser

Recently, Hollywood-based extreme metal band Ashen Horde, formerly a one-man project from Trevor Portz, has enlisted Stevie Boiser to take over vocal duties. Boiser is well-known in the tech death scene, fronting Dissonance By Design, Tethys and Equipoise, as well as formerly serving as lead vocalist for Colorado-based Vale Of Pnath.

AC/DC - Rescheduled US Tour Confirmed

After touring across Europe, AC/DC have announced full details of their rescheduled U.S. tour dates. Their Rock or Bust World Tour returns to America for ten final shows in August and September 2016. They are in Greensboro, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Columbus, Cleveland. Detroit, Buffalo, New York, Washington and Philadelphia. Original tickets will be honored for all rescheduled dates, refunds are available at point of purchase. AC/DC's current line-up of Angus Young, Cliff Williams, Stevie Young, Chris Slade and Axl Rose are set to continue their global trek with a return, for the final leg, to the USA.

Municipal Waste - Former Drummer Dies

Americans Municipal Waste just lost their former drummer, Brandon Ferrell. He assumed drum duties between 2002 and 2004 in the thrash metal band. He also played in Obsessor and Sarcoma. No details were revealed regarding the circumstances of his death.
