Today is a big day for Dutch metallers Epica because they just revealed the details of the new album they have been working on. 2014's The Quantum Enigma will be followed by The Holographic Principle. The band's 7th studio album will be released on September 30th, 2016 via Nuclear Blast Records. This is an album that has been out of print for over 20 years. These tracks have been remastered by Maor Appelbaum from the original 1/2" mix reels with bonus tracks: demo versions (taken from the original 8-track tapes) of "Greed," "Mark Bowen," "Arabian Disco" and "Intro," live versions of "The Jungle" and "New Beginnings."

Due to personal reasons, guitarist Gert Lund has quit Saturnus. He was part of the band between 2013-2016 and they wish him all the best in his future life. Keyboardist Mika Filborne had also left the group last year. Saturnus haven't released a new album since 2012's Saturn In Ascension but they have been touring in Europe in the last few months.

They are in Greensboro, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Columbus, Cleveland. Detroit, Buffalo, New York, Washington and Philadelphia. Original tickets will be honored for all rescheduled dates, refunds are available at point of purchase.
