I have "Blessed Are The Sick", but both "Covenant" and "Altars Of Madness" seem better.

Anyway, I fiunally checked the band and I hit myself with a stick after hearing some myspaces.. Since I couldn't believe how stupid was I who never boguht something of the band.

So... I don't have songs on ym computer. But I'm gonna change that. Good band and it seems that almost every album is a good one.

And I have to say something more:
The riff at the beginning of Dawn of Angry... Damn, I love it. I can't stop thinking of that riff. It sounded like what the apocalypse would be.

Ive been meaning to get some stuff from this band for a long time, any suggestions?

I always thought Domination is the best album to start with from this band, though most would probably say that it is not their best. Alters of Madness, Blessed Are the Sick, Covenant, and Formulas Fatal to the Flesh also come highly recommended.

Ill be sure to check those out man, I have been pretty deprived of death metal.

Domination is the most accessible but if you're already into old school death metal at all then go straight to the first three in chronological order. Altars... and Blessed... are their classics, the rest are more controversial. Heretic for example has its merits but would probably be a horrible place to start.

I heard a little from blessed cuz my uncle has it. Ill probably get the first four albums or so, cuz those are normally a bands best.

I totally agree with the post above yours. ALtars and Blessed are by far my favourites and although I really do enjoy Heretic a lot it IS a bad place to start.

I'd say start out with their MySpace page and then if you even remotely enjoy the songs, buy every album. They have no bad material.

I love Morbid Angel. I have the up most respect for them. Of course, my favorite album is Altars.

that article with Dave Vincent and the airport is HILARIOUS. a similar incident happened to me minus the weapons charge but i digress. i cant wait for their new album to come out. i hope with all my power that it is worth the wait.

I am beginning to wonder if this album will even be released in 2009. Seems like it has been awhile since there has been an update, and I can see the release dragging out forever. But, if that means a better album, than I am all for a delay.

Ok, so I went to darklyrics.com and i saw a compilation from 2005 called Ignominious, but i couldn't find it anywhere and in every article I've read it was stated that their next album will be the "I" album, so then what the hell is Ignominious and does it even exist?

Altars of Madness, Blessed are the Sick, Covenant and Domination are my top albums of all time .

The best deathmetal band of all time, in my opinion.
Saw them for the first time live this year, 2 times(graspop and metalfest) and it was great.
All of their albums are great (also those with steve) but my favorite is Altars Of Madness.

Well, it's not an official Morbid Angel release, that's for sure. According to Metal Archives it's an Internet bootleg, so of course it doesn't count as a proper album and Morbid Angel will still have the next album beginning with 'I'!

Should they ever get around to it... it seems "Heretic" was released eons ago, back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

No fucking way it is being put out in March...I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't until 2010 before they come up with anything.

Definitely, unless they're doing the whole hush-up thing and are trying to avoid it getting leaked. They played a new song at the Metalfest in December, 'Nevermore'. But there is no telling how the rest of the album is moving along.

Yes, I saw them in Neu-Isenburg. To be honest, the sound was really shitty in general. I had to leave the front and go in the back, roughly in the middle to get a good listen. The new song sounded okay, but not memorable. And Vincent was a bit ticked off for some reason.
