Not sure I should talk since I don't know a ton about the band, but I was under the impression that they were not National Socialist, they were merely Nationalist. Those are two very different things. Nationalism is still a plague, but it's not necessarily anywhere near as bad as National Socialism. If they are actually nsbm, that would make sense, and I apologize for saying anything. However, it was my understanding that they are not nsbm and so this seems odd.

I know because I remember the day there was the discussion on the shoutbox featuring some staff members. Now if they are actually ns or not, I don't know for sure since I never pay attention to such stuff :3

@Jaeryd: Early Peste Noire (demos) is nsbm. If they are only nationalistic nowadays is sort of irrelevant. Just like with Nokturnal Mortum or Satanic Warmaster. They released nsbm content, so enough to be on the blacklist.

What about black as in "afro-"? Bad Brains was a black punk band. I can't think of any black metal bands. Are there any non-heteronormative black metal bands? In regular metal, there's Rob Halford of Judas Priest. I'm not gay... just curious.

Think I have seen in BM trend in like last 10 years, in mussicans, they dont hang upside down crosses or pentagrams around their neck, but now they put mjölner and other heather ornoments around the neck and use as symbols, those st. ann symbols are rare nowadays in BM, maybe 10% from new bands, and even old bands burned out youth dont use it, I like it more and more, men whit pagan symbols and rings, necklesses and so on looks good
