You can really recognize that drummer though!

Oh yeah, definitely!

Who the hell is Ugly Kid Joe? Looking that guy up now he's the drummer for that band Godsmack!? Well whaddya you know!

They were huge in 1991/1992 with some radio hits. They annoyed the hell out of any proper metaller at the time.
Vasil de Shumen - 26.06.2012 at 09:10
What is your opinion about FATAL OPERA ?

I think this is one of the most neglected bands in all metal history.
MechanisT - 03.07.2012 at 17:03
Awesome list.
TrollandDie - 19.07.2012 at 23:27
Probably the best list I've come across on Metal Storm. The arsenal of new bands I got to check out was unreal!

Mad props for adding Solstice in as well. I'm still awaiting their addition to the MS database.

So many good bands ( especially from the 90s ) are unknown to fans.

I think MetalStorm can help the young metalheads to find these almost forgotten records
Warman - 30.07.2012 at 23:00
Oh, Embraced. So overlooked! Their first album is magic! Maybe the best symphonic black metal has to offer.

Agreed! There are other websites that have helped me know of larger acts, but MS is probably my favourite for little-known gems. Thanks again.

If I am not mistaken I don't think you're just a listener, you're must be an employee of music label.

Really good idea but there is one small problem - I don't care about the commercial potential of the records

Now I'm even more positive to think that you're in music label as you mentioned the word "commercial". Only those work in music label would link "Commercial" and "Underrated" together. Reissue of underrated masterpieces is part of the lucrative division for independent label. You're working at an independent label !

The Art has no purpose beyond itself. (Almost) everything else is a product with claims for aesthetics; the validity of this claim depends on the adequacy of the compromises - here most producers fail ...

For sure 'Chemical Exposure' is better but it's a cult recording known to every extreme metal fen.
