19:34 - Draven Edge Megadeth "Super Collider-radio version" ...sarcastically speaking I guess the "non radio" version must be too brutal for the ears of the commoners
19:12 - ANGEL REAPER "Metalheads dont die! They just jam in the great gig in the sky!" :D
18:53 - Carrion Misery Same for me, but it is the reverse. I dreaded power metal until I started to sing along. The pure skill/talent involved is very inspiring.
18:49 - Apothecary A good 4-5 years ago I used to hate extreme vocals in metal, til I tried them out myself and realized how much effort and talent really goes into them. Loved extreme metal ever since :)
18:41 - Carrion Misery It's funny how we can point this stuff out, but I know so many people could care less lol. That's why I love metal so much since there's so much to converse about.
18:37 - EMols86 Carrion Misery, I was just about to say the same thing about lyrical themes defining a genre, because they do not. Maybe some themes are very common in certain styles, but it doesn't define the style...
18:34 - EMols86 Look at doom bands like Candlemass, Solstice, Isole, Krux, Solitude Aeternus, 40 Watt Sun and Cathedral. Not exactly the same styles, but all clean vocals without growls. I rest my case. :-)
Nice list, though I must admit I haven't listened to at least one third of the albums present here. I'll have to dig it
My main complain would be the absence of Paradox's Heresy. Do you disregard this album or do you just consider it not Thrash enough to be on your list? I would also add Impact - Take The Pain

Thank you for the opinions, man
I like 'Heresy' - high quality thrash (for me) ... but Paradox is a German band.
