Wtf? Why remove them? You could just have replaced Reason with Ne Vivam seeing as that album is the most underrated and overlooked (7.9 with 20 votes)

I will think about it.

Quote:
It seems to me you still like to go for the most popular albums of a certain band

Nope, definitely not. I am recommending the best possible album from each band. Sometimes I can't do that because that album could not fit into my list (too many votes) and sometimes I can't put the most underrated album of the band, because I might not like it(the album).

Then we don't agree after all

And I disagree with you both However LeKiwi's option is still way better (now I'm breaking E.Mols86 balls here ) LeKiwi, your idea isn't bad, however my list is already long (215 albums) and I'd like to add more unknown bands to it, rather than more popular bands.
And Erik, your suggestion is just very bad (no joke here) because I would have to get rid of albums like this one, just because it has more than 8 rating http://www.metalstorm.net/bands/album.php?album_id=40906

Oh, in that case I misunderstood what you said (my excuse is being damn tired right now). Then we don't agree after all. I think everthing on here should have less than 70 votes as well as having a maximum rating of an 8.0/10 (or something like that).

In that case he should change his title to underrated and overlooked because the or implies it could be either

I think it's fine the way it is It should include both overlooked (<70 votes) and underrated (>70 votes and <8.0 rating, for example) albums.

Fair enough. That's where opinions become an issue and seeing as it's your list it's understandable.

You can't break my balls so easily... okay, that sounds strange. Anyway, in extreme cases like this (the album you linked) I agree with you. But when an album has, for example, 50 votes and a 9+ rating it wouldn't belong on this list at all.

Look at the title of this list, dude... there's no "or" in the title now. Haven't you read the comments of mine from a few days ago? I basically said the same thing and eventually we agreed to disagree. On top of that, look at the rules... all the albums here have LESS than 70 votes, so no offense but you're not making any sense right now.

He must have changed that very recently, because when I posted my comment there definitely was an or, otherwise I wouldn't have said it Even now, when I'm posting my reply it says: "Post a reply to Underrated or\and Overlooked Albums"

Nope, this title is already like this for a week or even weeks. And yes, when you post you can only see the initial title (when he submitted the list) and not the most recent title, which is quite annoying if you ask me. They should fix that. If you look at the List page (http://www.metalstorm.net/forum/board.php?board_id=56&page=) all the list titles are the initial list titles and not the most recent titles. Same goes for the list creators. For example, I "drastically" changed my username from EMols86 to E.Mols86 and when looking at the list page it still says that EMols86 created those lists of mine and not E.Mols86 while that last one is currently my username.

That's odd That may have been the source of my confusion, but I remember it being like this yesterday. I suppose only Hex can confirm that...

Nice job as usual. And you finally added Brown Jenkins, even though you said this: "Music is ok, but I don't like the general sound of this album." after I recommended it to you.

And finally Exumer is gone I see. Same goes for Heavenwood which also didn't belong here. Inborn Suffering and especially Indesinence are good additions as well. Lastly, nice to see you kept Desire in the list, as it's truly a masterpiece and somehow still pretty overlooked, despite it having 50+ votes.

Yeah, it's fantastic stuff to me, despite it being monotonous. It just goes on and on and on, which is annoying usually but not at all in this case. Btw, for people who are curious, here's the full album:

My personal favorite is Damascus Steel, as it's the one where I think they get most into their Middle Eastern aesthetic and use a bunch of tribal flavor and folk instruments, great production too. And it satisfies your > 50 votes rule on here too.
